historical Speicherstadt is another specificity of Hamburg. This set
of warehouses built in a classic brick architecture, based on thousands of
stilts in oak and crisscrossed by small canals, is the largest coherent complex
of its kind in the world. The HafenCity, subject of one of the largest
construction projects in the city center of Europe, on the other hand
allows discovering Hamburg of today and tomorrow.
